In order to assist industry in hosting successful company Safety Stand Downs, Enform offered several Lunch and Learn events. These presentations focused on sharing information needed to host a successful event. All participants also received a portfolio of the 2012 promotional materials.
We were pleased to host over 300 industry representatives in our Lunch and Learn events and feedback received was extremely positive. Events took place in Calgary, Red Deer, Nisku, Weyburn, Estevan, Kindersley and Swift Current.
Our scheduled Lunch and Learn events are completed, but if you would like to be placed on a list indicating interest in future events, you may click here. If we have enough interest from industry, we will try to schedule more of these events for the 2012 Safety Stand Downs.

How to Host a Successful Safety Stand Down Event
Enform’s lunch and learns (and breakfast and learns) focused on how to host a successful Safety Stand Down event. Participants were provided with information on how to run a successful event from conception to delivery and a toolkit with all of the 2012 Safety Stand Down promotional materials. The presentation provided all the tools and knowledge needed to host a successful Safety Stand Down. This included Event Planning 101, Safety Stand Down event specifics, and the 2012 theme and tools.
Who attended?
Safety Stand Down is an industry initiative facilitated by Enform. The lunch and learns were offered free of charge to any member company of the six trade associations; CAGC, CAODC, CAPP, CEPA, PSAC, or SEPAC. The over 300 industry participants came from all across Alberta and Saskatchewan to attend.
